A recent amendment to the Civil Procedure rules (81st Update) introduces a new part 63A. These new rules are brought into force on 1 October 2015 by the Civil Procedure (Amendment No.4) Rules 2015.
The new Part 63A and supporting practice direction are introduced to provide a new single special list called the Financial List which will sit in both the Commercial Court (Queen’s Bench Division) and the Chancery Division to handle important and more complex financial market cases.
New forms have been introduced to be used in relation to these cases. The new forms have been included in the Commercial Court and High Court Chancery Division range in FormEvo. The forms which should be used from 1 October 2015 are:-
