Land Registry form changes – August 2016

The Land Registry has amended two legal forms. The change is to the notes only and is designed to remind conveyancers that they need to be mindful to exclude exempt information from other documents open to public inspection.

The forms that have been amended are:-

  • EX1 – Application for the registrar to designate a document as an exempt information document
  • EX1A - Reasons for exemption in support of an application to designate a document as an exempt information document

The change is to the side note to panel 10 of Form EX1 and panel 5 of Form EX1A. New August editions may be used immediately.
