Land Registry eAP1 – now supports bigger file attachments

Users of FormEvo eAP1 online submission of applications to change the register, can now send larger attachments as FormEvo now supports up to 20MB file size attachments (up from previous 10MB allowed by HM Land Registry).

The types of documents typically sent to HM Land Registry using eAP1 include:-

• scanned Deeds, Transfers
• SDLT5 certificates
• detailed plans
• evidence to support their applications.

The increased file size limit of 20MB applies to documents sent to HM Land Registry via FormEvo eAP1 and also applies to responses from HM Land Registry who will also return files that are up to 20MB.

As HM Land Registry has increased the size of files that they can email back to conveyancers, we recommend checking with your email provider regarding files size limitations (if you have limitations set) to ensure 20MB files will be received and not blocked.
